Devon Dogs is a small family-run business with a passion for dogs and a passion for Devon. We currently operate in and around Exeter and our central focus is agility, the fastest growing sport in the dog world. Even so, due to popular demand we now cater for obedience 4 agility, puppy socialisation, puppy foundation agility and pet obedience.
We welcome all types of dogs (and handlers), whether familiar in the agility arena or not, and offer something for all dog owners, whether new or experienced.
Dog training is a fantastic way to exercise you and your dog, and will help you to build a strong and a dynamic canine partnership.

Give us a try and pick up the phone, or send us an email – what have you got to lose? Think of what you could gain – a focused, happy, and fit dog, and a strong relationship that will last a lifetime. You are welcome to observe a class – just let us know when you would like to come.
If you want to join a club with genuine expertise, and you want something professional, yet friendly and individual, then give Devon Dogs a try. We have a small number of trainers who all share our passion and commitment for dog training, and can provide you with different levels of training appropriate to your needs. We are especially proud to announce that our Head Trainer, Lauren Langman, competes at level 7, the highest rank of competition in the British agility arena, and has been chosen to represent Great Britain in the World Agility Championship for the last two years. Many of our customers come from far and wide to train with Lauren, ranging from St Ives in Cornwall to Newbury in Berkshire.
Our classes are small: there are no more than 6 handlers to a class, and each class lasts for one hour. You have an opportunity to be assessed before joining, and will be given specific pre-agreed targets with your development structured in monthly blocks. Once allocated a space on a class, that space is yours until you wish to move on. We ask you for maximum feedback at all times in order to help us improve your learning experience.
Our approach to all forms of training is that first and foremost it should be fun and enjoyable for both you and your dog. If it is not, neither of you will learn, nor want to continue learning! |
