About Devon Dogs

Devon Dogs is a small family-run business with a passion for dogs and a passion for Devon. We currently operate in and around Exeter, with our training based mainly at Newhall Equestrian Centre, Broadclyst near Exeter where we have a large indoor barn and an outside enclosed paddock.  Our home and headquarters is at East Bowerland Farm, Okehampton where we also base our self-catering dog friendly holiday cottages, Bowerland Cottage Holidays. Here we also have an outdoor training school, a small indoor training barn and numerous paddocks all set amongst beautiful Devon countryside.

Our specialism at Devon Dogs is agility, the fastest growing sport in the dog world. However, we recognise that dog training starts when you bring your puppy home at 8 weeks old and we offer help and support to start you off from the very beginning of your new life together. We provide a number of weekly classes and workshops for puppy socialisation, puppy foundation agility and pet obedience and life skills, as well as all levels of agility training, from complete beginners to experienced competitors.

We welcome all types of dogs (and handlers), whether familiar in the agility arena or not, and offer something for all dog owners, whether new or experienced. We want our customers to start training with us, whether as a beginner to dog training or not, and with our help they will want to extend their knowledge, expand their passion, strengthen their relationship with their dog and keep pushing onwards with their new hobby.

Whether our customers just want to train with us for fun and fitness or find they would like to take their new skills to competition level, our Devon Dogs trainers will be able to cater for all levels and aspirations.
