Hi my name is Claire. I currently own three dogs; Kai (collie x springer d.o.b. 22.2.03), JC (WSD d.o.b.28.11.03) and Wren (BC d.o.b. 20.02.08).

Kai was attacked when he was very young and became fear aggressive as a result. Lauren has helped us a lot along the way, first starting off with 1-2-1 personal lessons and graduating to group lessons when we felt he was ready as well as giving me the tools to deal with his issues on a day to day basis. We have had a hard slog but in 2009 he has two wins and can now cope very well in a group class environment and competition environment. Agility and Lauren has been the making of him.

JC is now semi retired from agility. He is a very sensitive chap and whilst he did very well when we first started he finds it difficult to cope with the bigger shows that I tend to go to. He comes along for the ride and still enjoys training and the smaller shows.

Wren is my youngster and has taught me more about foundation work than any dog ever has. Before I got her I had only heard about this and never realised how important it was but I had never done it before a dog competed in agility. Each dog teaches you something and it has taught us both a lot especially dealing with her chase drive. We have high hopes!
