LOCATION

Devon Dogs are now able to offer training at two separate locations. Here are directions to help you find each of our training venues and further details of the facilities available.

If you are unsure which location your training/class will be taking place at please feel free to email us to check or go to the Courses & Booking page and download the appropriate handout for your class - details should be there.

Newhall Equestrian Centre - Main House

Newhall Equestrian Centre - Indoor Arena

Killerton House

Devon Dogs agility training and events and all regular agility classes are held at Newhall Equestrian Centre which is situated in Budlake near to both Cullompton and Exeter. The venue has both an indoor and outdoor arena. You can access bridleways close to the premises and Ashclyst Forest Killerton House and Gardens are both excellent local landmarks. There are also a number of good pubs on the road to the venue.

For the best route to the venue please enter the postcode EX5 3LW into The AA route planner or go to Newhall Equestrian Multimap This will allow you to plan your route effectively. The venue is signposted from the Broadclyst road.

If your class is held in the indoor barn, when you enter the car park drive to the far end. From the end of the car park please look down towards the yard where you should see the lights of the indoor school. Please keep dogs on leads at all times as the yard is a working stud yard and therefore the stallions will not appreciate any dogs approaching them. Please wait outside the school until the present class exit and try not to crowd the doorway in-case some dogs find the situation claustrophobic.

Alternatively, if your class is held in the field, you will need to park up as soon as you enter the yard and walk down through the yard to the left.   The gate to the field is on the left, immediately after the house and opposite the toilets.

The venue does have its own toilet facilities and a small washbasin. Please ask any one of the trainers or trainees to show you but try not to take your dog through the yard – one of us will be more than happy to hold him/her.

All Obedience, Clicker Training Classes and Massage Workshops are held at Clyst St George Village Hall.

For the best route to the venue please enter the postcode EX3 ORE into The AA route planner or see the map at Clyst St George Multimap

When you reach Clyst St George, turn into the village and go past the school, the village hall and the post office are on your left. Please park in the car parking spaces provided and do not leave barking dogs in your vehicle as we want to look after this lovely hall. The venue is less than a few minutes from the M5 junction 30.
