Training Events

We hold a variety of events, such as:

Furthermore, we hope to offer a further range of activities later in the year.

Here is some feedback following our Training Days:
"I thought the training was really good, especially as Star didnt drift off into her own little world once! I think this was really helped by praising her whatever happened which I will definately be doing from now on.
The grid excercises she did with us were useful to see how our dog stretched themselves over the jumps. Also I thought warming your dog up with the toy instead of the equipment was good as then the dog is concentrating on you."

"The wait, returning to the dog when they have a done a good wait sometimes and sending the dog on, all which Lauren picked up on on Sunday and which we practice on Wednesdays."

"Lauren had a very positive attitude which boosted our morale. She really made us think about the dog’s eye view of agility and the importance of the right reward for the right work. I appreciated the highly individual approach to each dog and handler and the way in which each pair was given "homework". All in all very good value for money."

"I thought Lauren herself was very good and appeared very confident/knowledgeable. I expected her to be very good at telling us how to handle but I was really surprised by her dog knowledge. She seemed to really be able to pick up on the dogs attitude/capability (and handlers!!) and give really good individual tips on how to work with the dog."

PICTURE TO FOLLOW

Hi Lauren, Just wanted to say how much Poppynme enjoyed Saturday (despite not being able to walk properly next day) !! I was buzzing for hours after we got home and was so pleased with Poppy. She behaved brilliantly and I don't think I've ever seen her so focused on me EVER!! I know we made LOADS of mistakes but they were mine and not hers (rubbish handling and footwork!!) It was good to see so many people I knew and also to meet and chat with some new faces. Picked up LOADS of advice and tips. Absolutely BRILLIANT !!

So, you’ve been taking your dog to agility classes and he is now powering over jumps, driving down his contacts and has perfect weaves.  You start thinking to yourself that you have to show off his newly acquired skills, but how? I hear you ask. Well, entering agility competitions is the perfect way to do this. Here is a Beginners Guide on how to enter your first show - hope you find it helpful
