"I thought the training was really good, especially as Star didnt drift off into her own little world once! I think this was really helped by praising her whatever happened which I will definately be doing from now on.
The grid excercises she did with us were useful to see how our dog stretched themselves over the jumps. Also I thought warming your dog up with the toy instead of the equipment was good as then the dog is concentrating on you."
"The wait, returning to the dog when they have a done a good wait sometimes and sending the dog on, all which Lauren picked up on on Sunday and which we practice on Wednesdays."
"Lauren had a very positive attitude which boosted our morale. She really made us think about the dog’s eye view of agility and the importance of the right reward for the right work. I appreciated the highly individual approach to each dog and handler and the way in which each pair was given "homework". All in all very good value for money."
"I thought Lauren herself was very good and appeared very confident/knowledgeable. I expected her to be very good at telling us how to handle but I was really surprised by her dog knowledge. She seemed to really be able to pick up on the dogs attitude/capability (and handlers!!) and give really good individual tips on how to work with the dog." |
