We have had some super workshops and classes this past week at Devon Dogs.  Tuesday we held our Olympia Course Running with Astro and the Unicorns helping to make the course look festive and give an Olympia ‘feel’.  Agility Improvers and Agility Starters also worked on skills over the Olympia courses.  Our Genius Dog, Agility Foundation and Life Skills classes all focused on boundaries working on the 12-days of Boundaries; the games all challenged students and their dogs to help with having rock solid boundaries! Over the weekend we held a Naughty but Nice Follow up Day; the dogs on the workshop have shown great improvement and we gave them new games and tips to continue their amazing progress.  Sunday we held our Leash Off Game On Workshop and Boundaries Game Workshop working on great games to improve recall and building amazing boundaries.

December 22nd will be our last weekly class until January 8th…we have a few spaces for 121s over the holiday season, just call the office to see what we can arrange to keep you training!

No matter what you are training, there is always something new to learn and we have added some super cool new workshops to our 2019 calendar…have a look as these are really exciting new workshops: Positive Gun Dog, NBN 3-Day Intensive, Innovative Search Games to name a few…these will fill up super, super fast!  One set of our workshop filled before we even had a chance to advertise!!!

Naughty But Nice Day
January 6, 2019 @ 10:00 am – 4:00 pm

Do you own a dog that lunges and spins on the lead? A dog who likes to greet anyone and anything in the environment? Perhaps your dog barks at anyone that walks past your house? Are you afraid to go out on walks when other dogs or people may be around?  Well don’t worry; you are not alone! We call these Naughty But Nice Dogs (NBN) and we LOVE them!  NBN dogs might bark, lunge, pull on the lead, chase (dogs, cars, livestock, joggers…anything!) or just find general day-to-day life challenging. Owning an NBN dog can make you as an owner feel anxious or afraid to have friends/family visit. You may feel like you can only walk your dog when no-one else is around…midnight walks can be very lonely!  We are here to help you transform your NBN, to turn your struggles into strengths! This workshop will arm you with the games and strategies you need to bring out the AWESOME in your dog!
