An Innovative Day of Training for Game Players (Invite Only for Pro Dog Trainers)
July 6 @ 10:00 am - 4:00 pm£100
Are you a Pro Dog Trainer? Do you want to learn more about the games we play and practical real life training skills? Do you want additional hands on experience and to see real life practical scenarios? What games do I play? It can be a challenge to find that focus! We will teach you how to progress these games but also tailor them right down to the specifics for your own needs!
We are holding 2 individual days of workshops dedicated to our Pro Dog Trainers to help you dig a bit deeper and get some invaluable hands on experience with one of our expert trainers! We 100% recommend both however you can do both or either as suits you!
Day 1 will be based on:
- NBN strategies;
- Out and about;
- Positive gundog training;
- Arousal up/arousal down.
The day will be theory as well as practical, bring your questions and your enthusiasm as we promise it will be fun and inspiring!
Day 2 will be based on:
- Chase strategies;
- Class management;
- Fitness fun;
You can sign up for these days individually or we recommend for the best learning you do both! If you book both together you will automatically receive a discount of £10! This is aimed at PDT ONLY and is a PDT invite event and if you are coming without your dog we can either loan you a dog for the event or you are more than welcome to observe and soak up the amazing knowledge we will share! What’s not to love, all ages and ANY breed welcome! Call the office to discuss your needs or book right now on the website!
We are looking forward to having you train with us! To help us ensure you have the best possible training experience, please arrive at the time specified. Devon Dogs is a Centre of Excellence training facility and we want to ensure all class change overs are smooth and easy. For this reason, can you please ensure you and your dog remain in your vehicle until the trainer is present and ready for you. If you are bringing any dogs with you, they must be quiet in vehicles when not training. Please bring covers for your crate.
We understand it is difficult to guess arrival times and we know you will have planned for the unexpected in your journey! Should you arrive a little early we recommend stopping at the Shell Services just off of the A30, only half a mile away from us. There is a Little Waitrose with tea/coffee and lots of healthy (or not so healthy!) snacks and prepared meals as well as toilet facilities. If you wish to go for a short walk, you can access the Granite Way in Sourton.
To get the best out of your training with us, please review this **awesome link** that includes what to bring for training, what you need if you are training in Bowerland Arena plus some helpful tips.
Please be aware that you may experience difficulties making a payment if you are using a mobile device.
