An Introduction to Hydrotherapy, Fitness and Rehabilitation
28 October 2019 @ 10:00 am – 4:00 pm£150
An Introduction to Water Therapies and Fit Dog’s: Hydrotherapy, Fitness and Rehabilitation will be discussed and covered to give you a real life taster on just what it involves
Have you ever been interested in hydrotherapy? Would you like to see real life dog’s working in a pool, rehab, fitness and treadmill environment? Are you interested in understanding the wider opportunities and learning that there is surrounding dogs? Would you like to broaden your knowledge and skill base? Have you ever considered rehab, fitness, sports specific training and water therapies? Would you like to see the games that can help a dog on their journey into enjoying the experiences and build water confidence and see how we work in real life!
If the answer to any of these questions is yes then we have just the taster day for you! Watch and learn about real life dog’s, in real life situations. Be in the privileged position to watch them on their journeys as we put them through their paces in both the pool and the treadmill environment!
We will be giving you a taster resource pack and food for thought going away from the day. Whilst this is not a qualification it’s a leap ahead in the direction of dreams. It’s also a one-off opportunity delving into the alchemy of hydrotherapy and fitness training for dogs, which allows you a unique insight into something completely magical!
We are looking forward to having you train with us! To help us ensure you have the best possible training experience, please arrive at the time specified. Devon Dogs is a Centre of Excellence training facility and we want to ensure all class change overs are smooth and easy. For this reason, can you please ensure you and your dog remain in your vehicle until the trainer is present and ready for you.
We understand it is difficult to guess arrival times and we know you will have planned for the unexpected in your journey! Should you arrive a little early we recommend stopping at the Shell Services just off of the A30, only half a mile away from us. There is a Little Waitrose with tea/coffee and lots of healthy (or not so healthy!) snacks and prepared meals as well as toilet facilities. If you wish to go for a short walk, you can access the Granite Way in Sourton.
To get the best out of your training with us, please review this **awesome link** that includes what to bring for training, what you need if you are training in Bowerland Arena plus some helpful tips.
