Leash Off Game On (LOGO) Workshop – The Ultimate RECALL Boooooost
December 16, 2018 @ 10:00 am - 1:00 pm£55
Would you like your dog to have more off-lead time?
Would you like your dog to have more freedom?
Imagine a world where you have such an awesome relationship with your dog and such reliable trust and confidence in their behaviour that you really don’t need a leash. We love to think of it as LEASH OFF GAME ON!
Having a dog that is reliable off-lead and with a great recall is massively enriching for you and your dog!
This workshop will work through the games that create a dog that sees you as the best thing ever in the environment and they WILL choose you over everything else when they are given the opportunity to be off-lead! When that leash comes off, the dogs want to be with you. We will teach you games that build that concept and that are achievable for everyone. The games we will show you can be played every day, everywhere and any time, and these experiences will pay into that relationship bank account.
Once you have signed up to the LEASH OFF GAME ON workshop, you will receive a copy of our Leash Off Game On e-book to read before you arrive! You will also receive a copy of our DVD for being part of this awesome LEASH Off GAME ON workshop!
Please bring to the workshop:
- bed (we recommend a raised bed)
- a harness and flat collar
- double ended lead
- training treats, this includes kibble plus higher value treats and visible treats such as cheese, sausage, liver, chicken
- a notepad and pen
- please dress for the weather
- the session will start with dogs in vehicles
We are looking forward to having you train with us! To help us ensure you have the best possible training experience, please arrive at the time specified. Devon Dogs is a Centre of Excellence training facility and we want to ensure all class change overs are smooth and easy. For this reason, can you please ensure you and your dog remain in your vehicle until the trainer is present and ready for you.
We understand it is difficult to guess arrival times and we know you will have planned for the unexpected in your journey! Should you arrive a little early we recommend stopping at the Shell Services just off of the A30, only half a mile away from us. There is a Little Waitrose with tea/coffee and lots of healthy (or not so healthy!) snacks and prepared meals as well as toilet facilities. If you wish to go for a short walk, you can access the Granite Way in Sourton
You can find a checklist of what we suggest you bring with you by following this link.
