Multi Skills Weekend
5 September 2020 @ 10:00 am – 6 September 2020 @ 5:00 pm£210.00
Due to the massive success of our Multi Skills Day in July we are now offering an “Invite Only” Weekend to students who we feel would enjoy this experience!
On the first day we will cover:
Contacts: starting with the foundations whether you have a run or stop, working through your dog’s understanding of what is required for each piece of contact equipment, giving them the confidence and independence to perform the correct behaviour.
Weaves: working at independent entries and exits, looking at the dogs footwork technique, giving them the confidence to drive and power ahead, proofing exercises. For those at the early stages of weaves we will give you all the help and information needed to progress further.
Jump Skills & Grids: giving your dog the very best startup back to training, looking at stride patterns, powering, collection and turning.
Handling: giving you the options of different handling techniques available, having the confidence to send and go, showing how you can be slick and smooth with your moves.
Tunnels: adding real value, looking at different angles of entry, giving the confidence to power in and out, turns out of the tunnels.
This weekend is going to be immense.
Each day will run from 10am to 5pm and will be action packed! Get ready to have the time of your life
Please bring a packed lunch/snacks and a flask with a hot drink.

We are looking forward to having you train with us! To help us ensure you have the best possible training experience, please arrive at the start time specified for this event. Devon Dogs is a Centre of Excellence training facility and we want to ensure all training change overs are smooth and easy.
We understand it is difficult to estimate arrival times and we know you will have planned for the unexpected in your journey! Should you arrive a little early, we recommend stopping at the Shell Services just off of the A30, only half a mile away from us. There is a Little Waitrose, Greggs, Subway and Burger King with tea/coffee and lots of healthy (or not so healthy!) snacks and prepared meals as well as toilet facilities. If you wish to go for a short walk, you can access the Granite Way in Sourton.
To get the best out of your training with us, please review this **awesome link** that includes what to bring for training, what you need if you are training in Bowerland Arena plus some helpful tips.
Please be aware that you may experience difficulties making a payment if you are using a mobile device.
