Naughty But Nice Day
8 December 2019 @ 10:00 am – 4:00 pm£110
Do you feel alone? Are you a ‘midnight’ walker taking your dog out when no one else is around? Or maybe you can’t get your dog to go out on walks? We are here to help! What is your struggle with your dog?
- Running over to other dogs;
- Growling, lunging, barking on lead;
- Stopping and not wanting to walk anymore;
- Jumping all over strangers;
- Barking at noises;
- Chasing cyclists, joggers, wildlife or livestock (anything really!);
- Pacing, watching, always aware and ready for what might happen.
We call these Naughty But Nice Dogs (NBN) and we LOVE them! We are here to help you transform your NBN and turn your struggles into strengths! You are not alone, we have your back and are here to help you out! This workshop will arm you with the games and strategies you need to bring out the AWESOME in your dog!
We will cover:
- On lead reactivity or anxiety;
- Out and about strategies;
- Understanding your dog’s body language;
- Motivating your dog and using appropriate rewards;
- Games that will bring out the BEST in your dog;
- Games you can play at home or take out and about.
Our facility has plenty of space and is perfect for you and your NBN to feel comfortable and be setup for the success! We will have the dogs work in with appropriate distance and space and show you how to use your environment to have the best experience with your dog when going out on walks, to the park or around your neighbourhood.
This workshop will take you from worrying about what could go wrong, to getting excited about what will go right!! You’ll start thinking about all those challenges as true training opportunities.
For taking part in this wonderful workshop you will also receive a copy of the fantastic and worldwide successful Naughty But Nice DVD so that you can continue with this valuable work at home.
All breed and level of dog and handler are welcome; this really is a workshop for everyone!

We are looking forward to having you train with us! To help us ensure you have the best possible training experience, please arrive at the time specified. Devon Dogs is a Centre of Excellence training facility and we want to ensure all class change overs are smooth and easy. For this reason, can you please ensure you and your dog remain in your vehicle until the trainer is present and ready for you.
We understand it is difficult to guess arrival times and we know you will have planned for the unexpected in your journey! Should you arrive a little early we recommend stopping at the Shell Services just off of the A30, only half a mile away from us. There is a Little Waitrose with tea/coffee and lots of healthy (or not so healthy!) snacks and prepared meals as well as toilet facilities. If you wish to go for a short walk, you can access the Granite Way in Sourton
