May 24 @ 10:00 am - May 26 @ 4:00 pm£325
After huge requests we are offering our 3 day intensive workshop to arm you with the games and strategies you need to bring out the AWESOME in your NBN dog! 💪💪
Are you a ‘midnight’ walker`, scared to take your dog out when people or dogs are around? Are you afraid to invite friends over to your house because of your dog’s crazy behaviour? Do you have a new rescue dog that you just know has an awesome personality you want to bring out? Or maybe you have a different struggle such as chase…livestock, small animals, dogs, joggers, cyclist, anything at all really!
We have a 3 day workshop just for you and your NBN dog! Devon Dogs is home of the Naughty but Nice programme that has transformed thousands of dogs and their owners’ lives. We have so much we want to share with you! Join us and we can give you the games and strategies to bring out the NICE in your NBN dog! These days will fill super fast and we have sooooo much planned they will be super jam packed!
So here is what we have planned across the 3 days which will be a mix of theory and practical work:
- On lead reactivity or anxiety;
- Counter-conditioning games;
- NBN Management techniques;
- Calming signals and strategies;
- Predatory eye-stalk patterns (how they get dogs in trouble);
- Growing Calm;
- Understanding our dog’s body language;
- Out and about strategies;
- Vehicle management;
- Creating a calm environment;
- Handling specific situations;
- Games designed for NBN dogs;
- Growing your dog’s optimism and confidence;
- Strategies for you as an NBN dog owner…plus much, much more!
- We are here to help you transform your NBN, to turn your struggles into strengths!
The days will involve a range of activities and relationship games that you can take away to practice at home, boosting your skills and confidence as an owner. We will look at how you can start to understand your dog’s body language and what it is telling you. We will also look at different breed types and characteristics and how having a better understanding of the dog will underpin your future training. The days will be a mix of theory and practical with dogs remaining in vehicles to rest in between working sessions. We recommend you bring a blanket for your vehicle that can cover where your dog is resting.
This workshop will take you from worrying about what could go wrong, to getting excited about what will go right!! You’ll start thinking about all those challenges as true training opportunities.
For taking part in this wonderful workshop you will also received a DVD of your choice so that you can continue with this valuable work at home, and an amazing Devon Dogs bag! You will be able to pick at the event.
All breed and level of dog and handler are welcome; this really is a workshop for everyone! No dog is too old or too young. We hope you can join us! Take action 🙌
