This action-packed  tailor-made week will offer a variety of training sessions on a niche group basis as well as 121. Recharge your batteries and relax in your cosy Devon cottage between your training sessions.

Harness the power of scent

We will help turn your dog’s nose on and harness the power of scent, all through a variety of games. From home searches to out and about tracking, we will make sure your week is full of fun, and we know that you can unlock scent to help turn your dog into a beautifully well-mannered pet and the bonus is…  you have an amazing pet detective to boot!  Dropped your car keys on a walk?  Let your dog find them for you; lost your scarf… we got this! And even better than this, you learn to speak dog!

Bring a second person

Bring your dog or dogs (up to 3 per cottage – any more by request) and you are very welcome to include a second person who supports you in your dog training journey either as a spectator, or we can put together an additional handler place as long as you are staying with us (additional cost would apply for an extra dog training space and handler).

The Scent Retreat Week includes:

Deluxe Package

Devon Dogs is excited to announce the arrival of 2 brand new holiday cottages for our guests to stay in whilst on your holiday retreat with us.  Right in the heart of the beautiful Devon countryside about 15 minutes from the main Bowerland Cottage Holidays site our new cottages are a big new addition to Bowerland.

Both traditional devon cottages are set in gorgeous surroundings where you can walk around a stunning private fishing lake and are within easy distances to local woods and of course, the moors.  The new cottages also both benefit from the private use of an enclosed 2 acre paddock for free running time for your dogs.

Now, as important as the outside space is to us dog owning folks, the inside is set to blow you away too. Both cottages have a hot tub to relax and unwind after your amazing training sessions, large en suite bathrooms and a log burning stove to keep you nice and cosy during your stay.

Both cottages have 3 bedrooms and sleep up to 6 guests, so for the first time we are now able to offer accommodation for the whole family….or those who just want a little more space to relax in.
