Self Control Filmed Event and Workshop
22 June @ 9:30 am – 4:30 pm
£165.00
Does your dog need a little more impulse control?
We love our dogs to have ‘pulse’ – that desire and drive to work, whether that’s for food or toys, and ultimately, experiences with us. But that does have to be balanced with the right level of impulse control. A dog who lacks impulse control is a dog who will chase the squirrel or the jogger in the park, swipe a sandwich off the kitchen counter or pull on the lead.
What struggles can you conquer by teaching your dog some self control?
- Jumping on people
- Stealing socks
- Rolling in fox poo
- Eating a dropped tablet
- Chasing wildlife
These are just a few situations where growing self control skills can benefit your dog (and you too!).
During this filmed day, Tom and Lauren will help you learn new games targeted at growing this valuable skill. We will look at reinforcers, desire and ways to help your dog learn to make great choices through appropriate impulse control.
This day will be filmed, and you will be required to sign an electronic film waiver the week before the workshop.
Call the office to discuss your needs or book right now on the website!
Please bring a packed lunch/snacks and hot/cold drinks for the day.
Cost:
