Tuesday Afternoon European Handling
9 November 2021 @ 2:00 pm – 4:00 pm£35.00
How are your handling skills?
Do you want to be faster, quicker and slicker? Well look no further! This workshop will be packed full of handling sequences that will challenge and push you. You will learn European style handling moves that will allow you to get in and out, travel away and work your dog from a distance. How is your timing? You will gain the necessary skills to give your dog the information it needs at the right time, gaining a better and more fluid course running experience.

We will be inside on the artificial grass
Please bring clean indoor shoes. Only dry, non-crumbly rewards should be used on the artificial grass. We have recommendations of what to bring: https://www.devondogs.co.uk/what-to-bring. Please have artificial grass appropriate items as a ‘just in case’, this includes indoor shoes that have not been worn outside (gym style policies). Even if they have been worn on dry ground, the soles will leave little footprints on the artificial grass, it’s a bit like a living room carpet!
We are looking forward to having you train with us!
To help us ensure you have the best possible training experience, please arrive at the start time specified for this event. Devon Dogs is a Centre of Excellence training facility and we want to ensure all training change overs are smooth and easy.
We understand it is difficult to estimate arrival times and we know you will have planned for the unexpected in your journey! Should you arrive a little early, we recommend stopping at the Shell Services just off of the A30, only half a mile away from us. There is a Little Waitrose, Greggs, Subway and Burger King with tea/coffee and lots of healthy (or not so healthy!) snacks and prepared meals as well as toilet facilities. If you wish to go for a short walk, you can access the Granite Way in Sourton.
To get the best out of your training with us, please review this **awesome link** that includes what to bring for training, what you need if you are training in Bowerland Arena plus some helpful tips.
