Parsley Cottage offers generous space and comfort within the Bowerland cottage collection, nestled in the peaceful village of Germansweek, just 20 minutes from our main site. With two bedrooms sleeping up to four guests, it’s ideal for families or those travelling with multiple dogs. Whether you’re here to focus on training or to enjoy countryside time as part of a structured Stay & Train Holiday, Parsley Cottage gives you space, comfort, and the ideal environment for both.
Recently refurbished, the cottage features a brand-new woodburner for cosy evenings, a stylish new shower room, and a generously sized lounge with high ceilings and two large sofas — perfect for relaxing after a day out. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need, including a dishwasher, and it looks out onto a beautiful, wildlife-filled garden that’s ideal for birdwatching or simply soaking up the serenity.
A unique bonus at Parsley Cottage is the large attached training room/garage, offering a versatile space to train in all weather — especially handy for multi-dog households. The garden, now fully enclosed with 6-foot fencing, includes a small pond discovered during renovations and now home to some friendly resident fish! It’s safe, secure, and ideal for dogs who are anxious or reactive.
There’s convenient parking right outside the door, allowing for smooth transitions in and out with your dogs. For added convenience, training can also be arranged right at the cottage — just let us know what you need.
Parsley Cottage is perfectly placed for exploring the Devon Moors, with riverside walks and hidden gems close by. We’re always happy to recommend the best local walks tailored to your dog’s individual needs. And as night falls, you’ll be treated to the breathtaking Devon night sky, filled with stars and perfect for a peaceful end to your day.
With its own indoor training room and fully enclosed garden — all included as part of your Stay & Train Holiday experience — Parsley Cottage offers flexibility and convenience for focused learning in all weather.
3 dogs allowed free of charge – (5 dogs maximum). If you have more than 3 dogs, there is a £100 additional charge for a 7 night stay.
Features
Living Room – Rustic table & chairs to enjoy your home cooked meals. Relax on the large settees beside the wood burner and watch the TV. There is a rear porch you can access from the living room, with a back door to the garden.
2 Bedrooms – Master bedroom with king-size bed, double wardrobe, bedside cabinets and hairdryer. Bedroom 2 with double bed. Built in shelves and hanging space for your clothes. All linens included.
Kitchen – Cooker, hob, fridge-freezer, microwave, toaster, kettle, full range of utensils, and cooking equipment. Dishcloths and tea-towels provided, plus cleaning products.
Bathroom – features a newly refurbished wetroom, toilet and sink with bathroom vanity unit. Colourful towels and toiletries are provided for your use.
