Demo Dog Workshop

Would you like a film star, a camera poser, or a rock steady rock star of a demo dog?

Well you have come to just the right place! Here at Devon Dogs we are not only exceptionally happy with teaching these skills but use them in every day life, whether that’s for film and camera work, photo shoots and local media and press releases or even demonstration dogs for our own dog training school and worldwide media productions and social media. We teach any dog to work the skills that are needed the other side of the camera. We show you the tricks of the trade, we work alongside skills and props to make your role super simple, we save time and we ensure that the dog’s are confident and happy at each and every level!

As part of the film star day, you will have a super set of props and resources to use and utilise for maximum results in the day. Please bring a clicker and copious amounts of treats with the best variety you can think of (be creative) to maximise your success over the two days!

This day is not to be missed! We have limited spaces and huge interest! Secure your spot right now to avoid disappointment!

Astro Turf Rules

From January 2019, Devon Dogs will be using a new state-of-the-art astro turf flooring within our training arena.

To keep this fantastic improvement of the Devon Dogs training facilities at its very, very best for the benefit of all of us, we need to follow some super simple rules:

  • Outdoor shoes are not to be used in the arena – please bring some indoor shoes to change into.
  • Please make sure your dog is dry and clean before entering the arena, particularly their paws. Please also clean off any toys before use.
  • Please make sure your dog has toileted outside the arena before entering.
  • Please ensure you bring a crate or raised bed, placed on a blanket to catch any missed training treats.
