What is your struggle with your dog?  Is it jumping on visitors?  Counter surfing?  Barking at the post man?  You name your struggle and one of our students (or we have) conquered your struggle!  We have a saying…There’s A Game for That! And it really is true; with games we can turn any struggle into a strength.  Our go to game is boundary games, these feature in every class, workshop and 121 we teach.  Having your dog settle on a boundary such as a raised bed teaches your dog calmness and to have a safe place to hang out.

This week in our agility classes boundaries were used to help with a rock solid start line, to learn calmness with plenty of distractions and to teach turn taking.  For our Life Skills and Genius Dog classes, boundaries are used in between exercises and while the next game is being explained, they are super important when managing a class.  Our weekend workshops: The Ultimate Relationship Boooost and Naughty but Nice, saw student learn the value in boundaries for help with recall, relationship and having a settled relaxed dog at home!  As trainers, we use boundaries for our dogs to settle on in between demoing and at home in real-life to have a quiet, relaxed, calm home!

Have a look out for our next Boundaries workshop to find out more about how boundaries can help with the struggle you are currently having with your dog!

If you want to learn more about the games we LOVE to play with our dogs, join us for one of our workshops below…we have a game for that raining (or sunny) day!  Here are some highlights for events we are holding for the next couple of months, and as always you can join us at anytime for a 121 bespoke training package!
