This week we have been focusing lots on our dogs checking in with us.  What does a check in look like?  Is it when our dog glances at us while out on a walk?  Is that enough?  Why is it so important?  A dog that checks in with you when your on a walk is a dog that looks out for where you are, comes over during walks and sees how you are doing, when you change direction your dog changes with you.  This means your need to recall your dog is much less.  You have a lovely walk with your dog without having to constantlly call them!  We love our dogs checking in and this makes walks a joy and a massive win!  How do you get this?  Through the power of games 🙂 and rewarding great choices your dog makes.
