What better way to spend the August Bank Holiday weekend, scones and dog training! Our 5-day Agility Holiday has been going super well and our students have had amazing wins and enjoyed some cake and cream tea in the amazing Devon sunshine! What have this amazing group been working on?
- Disengagement – so important at agility competitions as well as when training, you want a dog focused on you not what is happening around the ring you are competing in!
- Retrieve – having a dog that brings a toy straight back to you really helps with training new skills, you can repeat exercises more efficiently
- Fitness – a fit dog is a faster dog and less prone to injury, there is so much you can do to help your dog stay fit and healthy
- Skills – so many skills! Handling sequences, weaves proofing, contact accuracy, start lines waits…plus much more!
What are you working on with your dog this August Bank Holiday weekend? We hope you are having an amazing time with your dog and enjoying some time with family and friends!
