Sunshine and rain showers mean amazing rainbows! When you are out on a walk with your dog, how often do you stop and take in the view and notice a rainbow or stop and take a photo? One of the goals we hear from our students is for Off Leash Freedom. Such an amazing feeling when you can walk with your dog off lead and your dog stays with you. Instead of you constantly tracking your dog, you stop and take a photo and find your dog sat next to you or hanging out around you. A dog that checks in with you is an absolute dream!
We have had our students sharing lots of wins progressing towards true Off Leash Freedom this week. How have they done it? Playing games! Working on the environment (dogs, sheep, cyclists, joggers…you name it) being a non-event and increasing the owners value. Massive shout out to our students who are making progress towards their goals, all through playing games. You are WINNING and your dedication to your training and having fun with your dog is paying off.
We really encourage our students to invest in learning opportunities, it allows the team at Devon Dogs to help our students even more! We can then adapt and create bespoke training plans based off these amazing programs. What are you waiting for?
